SUMMARY:15th Annual Toy Drive to Benefit Harbor House
DESCRIPTION:For the 15th year the ToyDrive is happening to collect toys\, supplies\, and funds for Harbor House here in Appleton. \nThis year we’re doing a tribute to Steve Earle and I will be joined at the show by my friends:\nCory Arndt\, Matt Blake\, Caleb Cheslock\, Oliver Gold\, Taylor Greenwood\, Kurt Gunn\, Adam Koepke\, Zach Pietrini\, Justin Regner and Andrew Zimmerman for solo\, duo\, trio\, and full band performances. \nWe will also have an art auction my pal Chad Brady\, and raffles with prizes that include a turntable and speakers from Eroding Winds\, a guitar from Mike’s Music & Sound\, gift certificates from Silver Tuna Tattoo & Piercing\, and a whole lot more and ONE HUNDRED PERCENT of the funds raised will go directly to Harbor House. \nEvery year Harbor House puts out a wish list and our goal is to stick to that. You will find that list below or on my website or on the Harbor House website. As always\, we’re looking for new\, unwrapped stuff\, and we’re avoiding anything with any violent connotations.\nThis event means a lot to me. Every year is so rewarding and anybody who has attended any of the past 14 years will tell you how much fun we have\, and how great the spirit in the room is. \nAnd as always\, 100% means ONE HUNDRED PERCENT. Every musician is volunteering their time\, my friends at Gibson Community Music Hall have offered the venue free of charge\, all of the donations from these fantastic businesses have been freely given\, and that means that every penny that is raised at this event is for the cause. No cuts\, no percentages\, none of that. \nThank you for all of your support in years past. It feels good to know that people want to be a part of something like this and I’m incredibly proud of the history of this thing. We have raised over $50\,000 and collected more than 3\,500 toys and we’ve done it all without sponsors\, without ever taking a penny\, and we’ve helped a lot of people in the process. \nThis year is going to be great.
