DESCRIPTION:Axtell is a charming urban folk soul duet formed in 2016 in Buenos Aires\, Argentina. Kat Axtell (from Minnesota) and Julian Hernandez (an Argentine soloist) had their very first rehearsals in the subways of the city\, and have since performed over 100 shows all over the US and South America.\nThe duo’s sound blends genres from both members’ backgrounds: US Pop and R&B with Argentine Folk. Despite being just two onstage\, the pair produces an energetic live show with guitar and ukulele\, as well as the less familiar charango (Andean lute)\, and bombo legüero (“drum that can be heard a league away”).
