DESCRIPTION:Donnie got his start in the music business playing guitar in a Regional Bluegrass Band at age 14 for L.B Siler and the Round Mountain Boys. Growing up in a small town outside of Toledo Ohio\, the music scene was ever changing. It wasn’t until five years later when he discovered Art Griswold and the Organics (a national blues band) that he knew what he really wanted to do. ” they were amazing\, the real deal. Their live shows were so energetic and entertaining” so he jumped head first into the Blues. Hanging out with veteran local guitarist learning the licks and phrasings of the greats\, hitting all the jam sessions he could and soaking in everything anyone had to teach him. If you see him perform today and you love the Blues you will not be disappointed. The feeling and passion that he puts into every note is remarkable. “I didn’t pick this career it picked me”.. 36 years later still playing festivals \,clubs and bars and still loving every minute of it… \n
