SUMMARY:Horace Greene Album Release Showcase
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, June 6th\nHorace Greene Album Release Showcase\nWith Special Guests: Scorched Waves & Hang Ten\n7 pm Showtime | 6 pm Doors\nAdmission: $10 Advance\nThis will be a mostly standing rock n roll format for attendees. The limited seating to the left and right of the stage will be available on a first-come\, first-served basis upon entry. \nHorace Greene is a band that has done some things. Here is one of the things they did: they released an album. Actually\, they released two albums. The first album has 12 songs and it came out in 2016\, it is called “Early American Ice Cream”. The second album also has 12 songs and it came out in 2018\, it is called “The Diamond Engine”. Both albums came out on June 1st – crazy. There is also this other EP they released\, called “Live from the Algoma Club” – its a live album – three songs. That one came out in 2020 (not on June 1st). Here is something interesting that happened after “The Diamond Engine” came out: it got over half a million streams on Spotify. Unexpected. \nScorched Waves\, is an indie rock sensation hailing from Stevens Point\, WI. The band\, comprising Tyler Armstrong (Guitar)\, Al Vuorinen (Bass)\, Jaren Wojcik (Keyboards & Auxiliary Percussion)\, Damian Kessler (Drums)\, and Tiernan Brinkman (Vocals)\, bring a dynamic energy born from their diverse touring experiences. From their beginnings in intimate basements to iconic venues like Chicago’s Navy Pier\, First Avenue in Minneapolis\, Mile of Music Festival in Appleton\, and becoming a headliner of Milwaukee’s Summerfest. Scorched Waves leaves an indelible mark with their powerful performances. \nHang Ten writes sunny California music (by way of Wisconsin) that’s as influenced by classic ‘60s records as it is contemporary lo-fi bedroom pop. The band started as a studio project in 2020 whilst trapped in the basement studio of a monastery-turned-production-house on the Fox River. \nHang Ten is\nSamuel Farrell (vocals\, guitar)\nAlex Drossart (keyboards\, vocals)\nRyan Eick (guitar\, vocals)\nRyley Crowe (drums\, vocals)\nMatty Day (bass\, vocals) \n
