Krueger will be hosting a Saturday Songs session with Appleton’s Laura and Red and Green Bay’s Amelia Ford. \nWho: Eric W. KRUEGER: \nWisconsin born singer-songwriter Eric W. Krueger’s solo work takes a turn from his other projects (Leading the Blind\, Hallorann\, Sunday Flood\, A-Town Unplugged) through a balance of detailed narratives\, melody & dissonance\, and rhythm. \nRarely turning down an opportunity to create\, he’s played with a number of Fox Valley bands: Surface to Air\, Likefinewine\, Shallows\, Old Nails\, and the Mark Steven Hillstrom Band. Eric currently performs with local acoustic band A-Town Unplugged\, writes and plays with Appleton rock band Leading the Blind\, and can often be found playing acoustic LTB shows with friend and songwriting partner Marty Paschke. \nLAURA AND RED: \nLaura and Red is a conglomeration between Wisconsin songwriters\, Laura Jean Bomber and “Red” Ben Lila. Featuring strong vocal harmonies atop Laura’s tasteful piano and Ben’s skilled guitar playing. Find them as Duo or with their full band. \nAMELIA FORD: \nFrom Green Bay Wisconsin: Singer-songwriter and 2018 Nash-Next finalist\, Amelia Ford mixes soft soprano with raw grit in her 50+ original pop and folk-rock songs. \nOften drawing vocal comparisons to Alanis Morissette\, Amelia is innately musical\, self-taught on guitar\, piano\, and bass. However her greatest standout\, songwriting\, is unmistakably her home. \nAmelia divulges natural melodies and unique phrasing of lyrics faster than she can record\, share\, and promote them\, yet maintaining her unique signature qualities. Audiences are additionally charmed by her brazenly open introspection and whimsical\, unabashed humor\, as well as emotive vocals. \n
