The ten-songs reach out for another world while staying rooted in a humble sense of shared humanity. Drawing inspiration from the natural world, analogy, and matters of the heart, David pens his songs with thoughtful honesty and simple poetry. Drawing influence from indie-pop, acoustic folk, jazz and funk, the record is held together by a clear musicality and vocal purity.
