ABOUT KIND FOLK:
Four rising stars of New York’s modern jazz scene pool their ample resources to make music that is — to use an overworked phrase — greater than the sum of its parts. Since its inception in 2014, Kind Folk (comprised of trumpeter John Raymond, alto saxophonist Alex LoRe, bassist Noam Wiesenberg, and drummer Colin Stranahan) has endured against all odds to create poignant, thoughtful music.
