Rhythms & Brews showcases will be staged each Wednesday starting October 5, 2022 through May 17, 2023 and we’re pleased to bring you these Listening Room Experiences each and every week. It’s a chance to warm up your fall and winter a bit with songs from Mile of Music alumni and others who are traveling from all corners or from just around the corner.

Announcements and music begin at 7 p.m. each week, with the show typically ending between 8:45-9 p.m. Attendees are welcome to bring food in from out downtown restaurants to enjoy before or during the show. The doors open to the public at 6 p.m.

Gibson Community Music Hall joins The Mile of Music Presents Team and the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) and the National Independent Venue Foundation (NIVF) – as well as Bomber Sound Productions and a number of other community supporters – in inviting you to join us on Wednesday nights and sit back and enjoy these wonderful performances.

About Katie Pederson: Katie is a Nashville based singer and songwriter from Ann Arbor, MI. Surrounded by melodies played on her grandfather’s Steinway and harmonies sung by her mom, Katie found a love for song at a very young age. Inspired by artists such as Sara Bareilles, Ben Folds, and Elton John, she began writing music in high school, combining raw, vulnerable lyricism with catchy melodies and pop-piano sounds.
