Join us for “When I’m 64,” a live birthday event and fundraiser for Gibson owner/curator and Mile of Music creator Dave Willems with all dollars donated benefitting Mile 11 through Appleton Community Music! The Gibson Team has put together a true party – a music mixer, if you will. We’ll be mixing live music featuring a number of favorite artists from Gibson with classic vinyl on the Gibson vintage hi-fi console AND a playlist on the house PA of select songs from Dave’s many, many decades! And there’ll be cake, snacks and door prizes to enjoy plus, of course, the cash bar with specialty drinks from Jake.

Among the artists stopping by are Jon + Steve Wheelock, Sam Ness, Kurt Gunn + Brad Bordini (The Brothers Gunn), Cory Arndt and several surprise sit-ins. It’ll be loose and sure to be fun – and a one-of-a-kind performance.

Suggested Donation is $25 (but smaller is just fine!) but you are welcome to make a larger donation to The Mile cause either at the event or via the Birthday Fundraiser through the posts found on our social media pages! All donations to this event – both the live event and social posts – help support the performing artists coming to Mile 11 as well as their lodging and hospitality while here in Appleton.
