The Raglanders are a 5-piece group from Green Bay, WI who blur the lines between Rock and Country with a uniquely Midwestern take. They draw on traditional influences like Gram Parsons, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, and The Band along with newer voices such as Ryan Adams and Jason Isbell.
The band is currently writing and recording material for a follow up to their 2016 EP release “Pembine”, which they recorded in an isolated cabin deep in the woods of northern Wisconsin near the small town of Pembine. The new material demonstrates a growth in songwriting and musicianship, while sticking to the traditional roots that have been the band’s trademark from the beginning.
Since the release of “Pembine” founding members Troy Heinz (rhythm guitar, vocals), John Steuck (lead guitar, vocals) and Andy Cismoski (bass, vocals) have added violinist Molly Robinson and drummer Bill Schulz and in the process have taken the group’s musicianship to new heights. The band’s sound is clearly based first and foremost in the classic storytelling tradition, but the dual soloing violin and lead guitar can elevate improvisational passages to exciting new levels at any given moment.
The Raglanders have been steadily building a fan base, appearing at festivals around Wisconsin including the Steel Bridge Song Fest, Electric City Experience, and Moondance Festival and have shared the stage with national acts like Confederate Railroad and Jarrod Niemann.
One of the more prolific and hard-working young songwriters working in the Americana genre, John Statz has released seven studio albums, and performed all over North America (including Canada and Mexico) and Europe, all in just a shade over a decade. Throughout that time he’s been writing the kind of songs that float through your mind and stay nestled in your thoughts long after listening (American Songwriter) and it’s been said that his songwriting can stand beside the best and above the rest (No Depression). Along the way John has attracted the attention of the likes of Americana scene heroes Jeffrey Foucault and Bo Ramsey (Lucinda Williams, Greg Brown), who separately produced his last two records. This latest is produced by fellow Denver songwriter Megan Burtt, whose instincts and backing band help bring forth an entirely new sound from Statz.

Kyle Megna and Ross Caterton are two strong song writers that play in the same band Kyle Megna and The Monsoons! Their “dark-indie-blues-folk-rock feel” is a magnetic force that’s ever-charged with surges of creativity and artistic experimentation. Fused with a healthy dose of spontaneity and humor, Kyle and Ross channel “can’t-get-enough energy” that’s good for the soul.

Tae Popour–Passionate, open-minded, and willing. As a young human, made of many ideas and drawn to the arts, those are accurate statements that briefly support my works’ entirety. I am Tae, a 19 year old musician that was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin; driven by the hunger for growth, experimentation, and creation. With the help and networking of many people, and with my drive to make music and share it with the world, I have been on the journey of performing at a plethora of different venues. The people I have met, the things I have learned, and the motivation I have gained from these experiences have only driven me to have a hunger for more. I will dedicate my life to the creation of art, and utilize the power I have to be an agent of social change regardless of my state and place in life. Ultimately, I strive to make people feel and think, in the way their interpretation allows them.
