6:00pm–Tae Popour
8:00pm–Kyle Megna & Ross Caterton Duo (8:00pm)
No Cover! 21+
Kyle Megna and Ross Caterton are two strong song writers that play in the same band Kyle Megna and The Monsoons! Their “dark-indie-blues-folk-rock feel” is a magnetic force that’s ever-charged with surges of creativity and artistic experimentation. Fused with a healthy dose of spontaneity and humor, Kyle and Ross channel “can’t-get-enough energy” that’s good for the soul.

Tae Popour–Passionate, open-minded, and willing. As a young human, made of many ideas and drawn to the arts, those are accurate statements that briefly support my works’ entirety. I am Tae, a 19 year old musician that was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin; driven by the hunger for growth, experimentation, and creation. With the help and networking of many people, and with my drive to make music and share it with the world, I have been on the journey of performing at a plethora of different venues. The people I have met, the things I have learned, and the motivation I have gained from these experiences have only driven me to have a hunger for more. I will dedicate my life to the creation of art, and utilize the power I have to be an agent of social change regardless of my state and place in life. Ultimately, I strive to make people feel and think, in the way their interpretation allows them.

We’ll kick things off around 5:30 with some traditional Irish bagpipes followed by Liv Mueller, Spatola and Brother O’ Brother!
6:00pm: LIV Mueller (of The Lovelies): “She’s an individualistic songwriter with a thing for haunting, minimalist guitar, which she multitracks with the reverb turned all the way up, building a creepy, majestic backdrop for her slowly unwinding anthems and a waltz or two.”
New York Music Daily -delarue

Blue Collar Blues Band was founded circa 1980 by Hoss Hosmer and Terry Mewhorter. The group has gone through many changes to personnel over the years but one thing has remained constant (We Love The Blues). The foundation of the group consisted of Guitar, Harmonica, Bass and Drums, with the addition of Saxophone from time to time. Current members: Hoss Hosmer on Guitar, Terry Mewhorter on Harmonica, Russ Allen on Drums, Aaron Pantol on Bass. Mike Meidl on Sax joins the group for most of the year but loves his winter Hiatus from time to time. Rick Maki (AKA Malletkat) tickles the Vibes since joining recently. All members of the group have taken part in vocal duties.
Midwest-raised popfunksoulectro singer-songwriter. Professional tacky chain-wearer. Ivory James was born out of Prince-worship and bad luck in romance. A kinetic fusion of soul music, jazz piano, vintage synthesizers, wailing saxophone, clattering drum machines and one man’s cynicism and humor. Human connection is the mission, but I’ll settle for making you dance.

Lil’ Davy Max plays vintage Chicago blues the way they should be played, steeped in the Windy City tradition replete with guitar, harp and piano melding as one in the ensemble style that was the feature of the town’s blues in the 50s and 60s. He is also blessed with a tough blues voice that is ideally suited to his chosen genre.
Mike has played jazz piano for 20 years. His influences include Bud Powell, Horace Silver, Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans, Herbie Hancock, and Kenny Barron, grounding his playing in the bebop and hard bop traditions. Mike works throughout the Midwest at clubs and festivals in a variety of formats, including solo, combos, and with vocalists. Mike has four young children and lives in Neenah, Wisconsin.
GMH is proud to welcome back two favorites for one great night!! No Cover!
Captain Ivory and The Lately!
Captain Ivory–Michigan born, but touring out of Nashville, TN, Captain Ivory has developed a strong following through heavy touring of festivals and clubs across the US and Europe, including a marathon 42-day tour through France, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, & Spain in early 2015. The group has supported everyone from Otis Taylor, Whitey Morgan & the 78’s, Frontier Ruckus IAMDYNAMITE, and more. Their debut album, produced by Grammy winning producer David Feeny (Jack White, Loretta Lynn) and released on Gangplank Records in 2014, is featured at Joe Louis Arena, & receives airplay by NPR affiliates WEMU & WDET, WTTS (Indianapolis), Lightning 100 (Nashville), and many others internationally. The group is an official Music Dealers (Chicago) licensed artist and has been approached by PBS, Detroit Red Wings, and numerous filmmakers about the licensing of their music.
The Detroit to Nashville rock act combines soaring, high-energy, soulful vocals, with greasy guitar licks and a rhythm section that’s had crowds moving around the globe. Their explosive live shows are a sight to behold. Whether it’s on the big festival stage, or the corner of a small club, these guys bring the energy and the entertainment needed to keep crowds engaged.

The Lately–The Lately is a high-energy indie rock outfit built around memorable songwriting and a muscular rhythm section. The band avoids the pomp and pretentiousness the permeates the genre—focusing instead on boisterous hooks and raucous celebration. The unique voice of Samuel and melodic guitar work of Ryan has earned the band radio play throughout the country, while the focused songwriting and rowdy stage show has earned them the respect of fans and contemporaries.
“We’re really just out to prove that rock and roll can be fun and still be clever and sophisticated,” explains Samuel, a sentiment the band thrives on.

3 Time ” Best Vocalist ” Winner on Garage Band . com , Durango McMurphy is the World’s First Steampunk & Western singer. Favorite Quote : “The answer is never the answer. What’s really interesting is the mystery. If you seek the mystery instead of the answer, you’ll always be seeking. I’ve never seen anybody really find the answer. They think they have, so they stop thinking. But the job is to seek mystery, evoke mystery, plant a garden in which strange plants grow and mysteries bloom. The need for mystery is greater than the need for an answer.” – Ken Kesey .
