The bois are back at Gibson Music Hall. This time, perhaps our last time playing our favorite venue with our buddy boy and drummer extraordinaire, Jesse Kay. Jesse man moved to Chicago earlier this month, so we really can’t wait to celebrate his promotion, the good times we’ve shared, and the bond we’ve formed with him as musicians over the past year.
Music starts at 9ish. We’ll be going all night with Feedback classics. Can’t wait to party with y’all.

Join us for a night of drum and bass breakbeats, played live by a drummer and a bassist. If you’re a fan of Squarepusher, acid jazz, Aphex Twin, DJ Shadow, etc, you’ll dig it.
Simon Knudtson(drums/effects)is a Nashville based drummer, composer, and performer who was a longtime student of Kurt Stein’s(bass/effects). They are very excited to play together, and perform this special show. Bring it.
The Chocolateers are a must-see live act composed of interwoven four part harmonies, dynamic lead guitars, and authentic Americana lyrics all driven by a well-defined roots rock rhythm section guaranteed to engage even the most discerning audience. Combining their penchant for on-stage improvisation and the constant reimagining of their own original music, fans are always guaranteed that no two shows will be the same.
A Wisconsin based four piece alternative rock band. Nominated for 2017 WAMI Alternative Rock Artist of the year, the band brings its unique brand of original music to the corners of Wisconsin and beyond. The boys are currently at work on their third studio album.

Lemon Bucket Orkestra are Toronto’s original guerrilla-folk party-punk massive. The multi-award-winning ensemble has been heralded as a groundbreaking, genre-bending phenomenon by media and fans alike, and over the past 8 years have performed all over the world from WOMAD in New Zealand and Pohoda in Slovakia, to Festival D’Été in Québec City, and Luminato in Toronto. The Guardian proclaimed that their performances are “gorgeously sung and passionately played” and The New York Times declared them “charismatic…handsome and ambitious.”

There’s a movement bringing classic country music into the 21st century, with a renewed authenticity not typically found on the radio, and the standard-bearer is Casey James Prestwood. With roots in the South, and refined in the Rockies, Prestwood has crafted a lively and infectious sound that is solely his own.

We don’t play weeknight gigs very often, but we are pretty stoked about this one! We will be playing THURSDAY September 13th from 7-11pm @ Gibson Music Hall, 211 W. College Ave. in Appleton! See you there!

Jeff Johnston (guitar) formed The Swingin’ Johnsons in 1999, performing at clubs and festivals in Northeast WI. The band once opened up for Joe Bonamassa and his band at Mill Creek Bar in Appleton. The Swingin’ Johnsons play a variety of genres; from gritty Blues, to R&B, and more! WAMI-nominated vocalist Erin Krebs fronts the band with power and soul, and the chemistry between Erin & Jeff is undeniable! Jeff and Erin surround themselves with impeccable musicians, and when joined with Jeff’s soulful and polished guitar playing make an marvelous musical experience that is unrivaled! Musicians that often work with Swingin’ Johnsons include: bassists Justin Zopel, Andrew Mertens, and Drew Hicks; Brian Gruselle on keys; and drummers James LeFevre, Mike Malone, Mike Underwood, and Matthew Rhyner.
