The bois are back at Gibson Music Hall. This time, perhaps our last time playing our favorite venue with our buddy boy and drummer extraordinaire, Jesse Kay. Jesse man moved to Chicago earlier this month, so we really can’t wait to celebrate his promotion, the good times we’ve shared, and the bond we’ve formed with him as musicians over the past year.

Music starts at 9ish. We’ll be going all night with Feedback classics. Can’t wait to party with y’all.

Saunter into Gibson Music Hall on Saturday, September 29th, and catch an earful of live drum & bass from Kurt Stein & Simon Knudtson. It’s gonna be a power hour set from 7:30-8:30pm. Bring your head and some friends.

Join us for a night of drum and bass breakbeats, played live by a drummer and a bassist. If you’re a fan of Squarepusher, acid jazz, Aphex Twin, DJ Shadow, etc, you’ll dig it.

Simon Knudtson(drums/effects)is a Nashville based drummer, composer, and performer who was a longtime student of Kurt Stein’s(bass/effects). They are very excited to play together, and perform this special show. Bring it.

“Passionate, open-minded, and willing. As a young human, made of many ideas and drawn to the arts, those are accurate statements that briefly support my works’ entirety. I am Tae, a 20-year-old musician that was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin; driven by the hunger for growth, experimentation, and creation. With the help and networking of many people, and with my drive to make music and share it with the world, I have been on the journey of performing at a plethora of different venues. The people I have met, the things I have learned, and the motivation I have gained from these experiences have only driven me to have a hunger for more. I will dedicate my life to the creation of art, and utilize the power I have to be an agent of social change regardless of my state and place in life. Ultimately, I strive to make people feel and think, in the way their interpretation allows them.”

Kyle and Ross are two strong song writers that play in the same band Kyle Megna and The Monsoons! Their “dark-indie-blues-folk-rock feel” is a magnetic force that’s ever-charged with surges of creativity and artistic experimentation. Fused with a healthy dose of spontaneity and humor, Kyle and Ross channel “can’t-get-enough energy” that’s good for the soul.  No Cover!

There’s a movement bringing classic country music into the 21st century, with a renewed authenticity not typically found on the radio, and the standard-bearer is Casey James Prestwood.  With roots in the South, and refined in the Rockies, Prestwood has crafted a lively and infectious sound that is solely his own.
