By melding hook-filled melody within hard and heavy beats, BlackBelt Yello-Belli’s sound is an eclectic mix of alternative hard rock tinged with blues. Hailing from the Fox Cities and formed in 2015 “The Yello-Belli band” set out to create something different, powerful and “un-canned” with interesting song structure and time signatures. The bands fruition is a collaborative effort of tenored local musicians: Todd Schimmers (“Schimms”) on lead guitar, Mike Busse on lead vocals- rythym guitar, Greg “the Moose” Ashauer on drums, Luke “the bassman” Hartjes on back up vocals and bass guitar. Their music will instinctively clench your fist and leave you craving more.

The Hook Up is a dirty rock & roll trio formed in Appleton, WI. Their music is driven with compelling hooks, and lyrical density that will take the listener on a musical journey. The band’s personality, swagger, and musicianship shine through while they drop waves of inspired sounds. It’s as if Weezer, Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age melded together to create The Hook Up. With two lead singers the band offers original music that infuses their unique styles, while still feeling like cohesive works. Let The Hook Up take your eyes and ears for a ride!
Mr. Feedback is a 4-piece music machine based in Appleton, WI. The dirty duo of lick spittin’ bassist Michael Brandt and the 6-string motherplucker Derek Beuchel have been playing together since they knew how to walk. Growing tired of the same old song and dance, they joined forces with the percussion whiz kid and international travel guru Jesse Kay.
The formula was still lacking the proper amount of madness and absurdity, and vocalist Eric Allen dropped into the mix. With more range than a Texan, and less hair than a beach ball, his antics were the final piece in what has become Mr. Feedback.
Purposefully striding through a field of 60’s soul and guitar-driven blues rock, Horace Greene has set up camp in Oshkosh, WI where they brew their own unique brand of alternative rock n’ roll. The 3-piece, consisting of Tony Oakley (Vocals/Guitar), Sam Swetlik (Bass), and Mitch Washebek (Drums), is quickly picking up steam in the Fox Valley area and has plans to expand their sound to the Southern and West Coast of the US.

“Electrifyingly new and strangely familiar at the same time…with his mix of modern sounds and old-fashioned feeling, Raymond is steering jazz in the right direction.” (Downbeat Magazine)
Recently voted as a Rising Star Trumpeter in the Downbeat Magazine Critic’s Poll, John Raymond has been making a name for himself as one of the most promising, up-and-coming jazz musicians in New York. Originally from Minneapolis, MN, John has performed with some of most well-respected names in jazz including Billy Hart, Orrin Evans, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Ethan Iverson, and Linda Oh among others. His latest album “Real Feels” was released to widespread acclaim, including a ★★★★1/2 Downbeat review and was included on the Best Jazz Albums of 2016 by Stereogum.
Raymond’s trio “Real Feels” is a unique bass-less band that includes rising stars Gilad Hekselman (guitar) and Colin Stranahan (drums). The group incorporates indie-rock inspired originals and covers as well as puts a fresh spin on familiar songs, many of them stemming from Raymond’s roots as a Midwesterner. From American folk songs like Woody Guthrie’s “This Land Is Your Land,” to classic hymns such as “Amazing Grace,” to Lennon & McCartney’s “Blackbird,” to Thom Yorke’s “Atoms for Peace,” the music undoubtedly evokes a nostalgia for the past. However, “Real Feels” is far from being antiquated; the band’s improvisational, free-wheeling, keep-you-on-the-edge-of-your-seat kind of approach to the music makes the songs feel entirely relevant.
