Rhythms & Brews: Girl & The Gunn, Annie Sumi
October 5, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
FreeRhythms & Brews showcases will be staged each Wednesday starting October 5, 2022 through May 17, 2023 and we’re pleased to bring you these Listening Room Experiences each and every week. It’s a chance to warm up your fall and winter a bit with songs from Mile of Music alumni and others who are traveling from all corners or from just around the corner.
Announcements and music begin at 7 p.m. each week, with the show typically ending between 8:45-9 p.m. Attendees are welcome to bring food in from out downtown restaurants to enjoy before or during the show. The doors open to the public at 6 p.m.
Gibson Community Music Hall joins The Mile of Music Presents Team and the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) and the National Independent Venue Foundation (NIVF) – as well as Bomber Sound Productions and a number of other community supporters – in inviting you to join us on Wednesday nights and sit back and enjoy these wonderful performances.

About Girl & The Gunn: Two amazing solo musicians from the Green Bay WI Area come together to create this acoustic project, Girl & The Gunn. Their duets and harmonies are hauntingly beautiful as they sing folk-like originals and “original” covers that gain a lot of attention. Apart from this project, Amanda James and Kurt Gunn have made a name for themselves in the local music scene with their solo acts.
About Annie Sumi: Annie Sumi is a mixed-race, ethereal-folk artist from Canada. Her music is intimate and expansive, inviting the listener into a familiar otherworld. Inspired by the mirrored relationship between physical and emotional landscapes, Sumi’s music speaks of the human experience through the language of the senses.
