Mudbone! Sunday evenings at GMH!

Fox Valley veteran musicians Jay Stulo, Rodney Zimmerman, Tom Thiel along with Spencer Panosh make up the latest incarnation of Mudbone. Blues-tinged rock, plenty of surprises and an absolute pile of guitars!  EVERY Sunday evening head to Gibson Music Hall to catch Mudbone Live!  6:00-9:00pm.  No Cover!

Comprised of members of The Mustache and The Pocket Kings, the five piece funk collective Mange Loa combines rhythmic elements of Louisiana and West Coast funk to bring the dance party. If you are into bands like The Meters, Lettuce, and The RH Factor this is the band for you.

The Accord’s musical story is a diverse one. Founded by Jack, Sam, Adam, and Will. The boys took blues-influenced guitar work, jazz-funk laden bass lines, contemporary percussion styles of Graham and Sam, folk and roots songwriting, all topped off with a country flair and tried to create something unique. The boys have been asked numerous times to define theit sound and genre, and every time have given a different answer. Only way to know for sure is to hear them for yourselves. It’s only Rock-n-Roll, but its very evident that they like it by the new music they continue to create.

Soul. Rhythm and Blues. The words conjure romantic images of sweat dripping dancers swaying slowly to infectious Motown grooves, Staxx and Chess chart toppers oozing from the band stand with a harmonic intensity so real it broke your heart. Tender ballads peppered with generous portions of Hammond organ and scorched barn burners precisely punctuated by a ruthless horn section, these were the songs to have you on your feet before the singer even started. The times have changed and music has moved on, but the feeling of all this remains. This is one eight piece band that promises that feeling will sustain.

Horns. Bass, drums, and keys. Seductive guitar. And at the forefront of all this, Stephen Cooper. Combining R&B, jazz, soul, blues, funk, hip hop, and rock, he has drawn on his accomplishments of the past to bring you something truly special…A living, breathing musical conduit from the past to the present…and we guarantee to bring you that feeling of the heart once again.

Stephen Cooper has been a bandleader, sideman, and touring musician for over 25 years. In that time, he has played in 21 states and 7 countries with numerous groups, most namely WiFEE and the HUZz BAND and The Groove Hogs. Deeply rooted in jazz, r&b, and blues, Coop draws in vocal influences such as Amy Winehouse, Otis Redding, Stevie Wonder, and Al Green, while also being a highly accomplished saxophonist and instrumental soloist. Each member of Nobody Famous is a superstar on their own and we implore you to give us a spin!
