ABOUT DESERT NOISES:
Desert Noises is back. Hailing from Provo, UT the band toured extensively throughout the years playing major festivals and venues of all sizes. After a brief hiatus, all four original members are ecstatic about playing music together again and continuing the journey that started over a decade ago. This extended break saw the guys dive into individual artist projects and tours with other bands such as, Cage the Elephant, RayLand Baxter, Wild Child, Harpooner, Dove & the Wolf, Nightingail, and Microwave Mountain. Now, Desert Noises returns to the scene more focused, wiser, and more inspired than ever.
After recording and releasing two new songs (summer 2017) in Austin, TX with some help from members of Wild Child and Shakey Graves. They have started work on a new full length album in their relocated home of Nashville, TN. Its a familiar sound echoes of the spatial landscapes in Mountain Sea, the visceral growl in 27 Ways, and peak yearning from singer-songwriter Kyle Henderson. Theres no telling how high this mountain is that they are climbing, but for four friends from the desert, climbing is what makes them feel at home.
Desert Noises is Kyle Henderson (vocals, guitar), Tyler Osmond (bass, vocals), Brennan Allen (drums), Pat Boyer (guitar)

ABOUT THE ACCORDS:
The Accords released their first EP Paper Rhymes in 2018 and theyve since worked with GRAMMY Award-winning producer Gavin Lurssen on their two most recent singles, Vegas Sun and Feels Like. This Wisconsin-based band has performed at many venues across the Midwest, including Summerfest, and its jam-based improvisations make for a memorable musical experience. The Accords have a unique blend of voices that enhance their sound, which is reminiscent of Southern California rock.

Now in its 6th year, Flannel Fest has become an annual celebration of local, regional and national Americana music. Bust out your favorite flannel attire and join the fall-inspired party with some of Wisconsin’s most talented and decorated Wisco-Americana artists. Trapper Schoepp headlines the event. We are once again pleased to partner with Keep Wisconsin Warm/Cool Fund, the non-profit benefactor of Flannel Fest. The Keep Wisconsin Warm/Cool Fund (KWW/CF) is a statewide non-profit charitable effort that steps in and keeps the heat and power on for thousands of elderly, people with disabilities, veterans and working families with young children in crisis. As a result of generous public, private, business and individual support, KWW/CF provides preventative services and the financial assistance necessary to avert energy-related crisis situations. The KWW/CF provides the only safety net that keeps those most in need safely in their homes.

Thank you Flannel Fest for your support. It made such a difference in keeping the heat and power on for so many in need in our community. We are very much looking forward to this year’s event.

Porky’s Groove Machine is heading out on the road to support the release of their new album, “Hello, My Name Is”. Don’t miss your chance to get down and boogie to these new tunes while they’re in town for this album-release bash.

Porky’s Groove Machine (PGM) is a licensed provider of environmentally sustainable nerd funk that is ready to help you get on with your baddest self (Maximum Ink Music Magazine, July 2017). Since forming in 2011, they’ve criss-crossed the Midwest and East Coast, bringing their mature musicality (but not-so-mature sense of humor) to audiences of all ages. With their tight playing, choreographed dance moves, and audience-engaging performances, they always bring a funky party that is sure to get crowds laughing, dancing, and singing!

PGM is joining forces with fellow Minneapolis based artist, Radiochurch. Radiochurch is a group based in Minneapolis, MN whose honest, feel good music has been making waves in the Twin Cities. Each member brings their own unique perspective and style, creating a fluid and dynamic experience that lends itself to any music lover. In their first year together they performed as a finalist at the Paisley Park Battle of the Bands.

Recorded at The Hideaway Studios with producer Jason McGlone (Nooky Jones, McNasty Brass Band) in Minneapolis, Radiochurchs debut album was recently released in October 2018. Citizens Band is the culmination of over a year of collaborative writing and arranging which serves as the foundation for Ellis Cleves heartfelt lyrics that speak of hopes, dreams, and love, but also of the realities of the disenfranchised in America. From the feel good, danceable groove of Good Vibes to the more melodic stylings of Paradise, Citizens Band takes you on a genre bending journey and also packs a powerful lyrical message.

We’ll kick things off around 5:30 with some traditional Irish bagpipes followed by Liv Mueller, Spatola and Brother O’ Brother!

6:00pm: LIV Mueller (of The Lovelies): “She’s an individualistic songwriter with a thing for haunting, minimalist guitar, which she multitracks with the reverb turned all the way up, building a creepy, majestic backdrop for her slowly unwinding anthems and a waltz or two.”

8:00pm:  Spatola is a family band from Silver Lake, WI and Milwaukee consisting of brothers Matt and Kyle Spatola, Matt’s son Benjamin, and father/grampa Mikey. Party Rock, Dance Rock, Rock & Roll genres. If you haven’t seen them yet, you need to!

Captain Ivory and The Lately!

Captain Ivory–Michigan born, but touring out of Nashville, TN, Captain Ivory has developed a strong following through heavy touring of festivals and clubs across the US and Europe, including a marathon 42-day tour through France, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, & Spain in early 2015. The group has supported everyone from Otis Taylor, Whitey Morgan & the 78’s, Frontier Ruckus IAMDYNAMITE, and more. Their debut album, produced by Grammy winning producer David Feeny (Jack White, Loretta Lynn) and released on Gangplank Records in 2014, is featured at Joe Louis Arena, & receives airplay by NPR affiliates WEMU & WDET, WTTS (Indianapolis), Lightning 100 (Nashville), and many others internationally. The group is an official Music Dealers (Chicago) licensed artist and has been approached by PBS, Detroit Red Wings, and numerous filmmakers about the licensing of their music.

The Detroit to Nashville rock act combines soaring, high-energy, soulful vocals, with greasy guitar licks and a rhythm section that’s had crowds moving around the globe. Their explosive live shows are a sight to behold. Whether it’s on the big festival stage, or the corner of a small club, these guys bring the energy and the entertainment needed to keep crowds engaged.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XBaBf7w-80&feature=youtu.be

The Lately–The Lately is a high-energy indie rock outfit built around memorable songwriting and a muscular rhythm section. The band avoids the pomp and pretentiousness the permeates the genre—focusing instead on boisterous hooks and raucous celebration. The unique voice of Samuel and melodic guitar work of Ryan has earned the band radio play throughout the country, while the focused songwriting and rowdy stage show has earned them the respect of fans and contemporaries.
“We’re really just out to prove that rock and roll can be fun and still be clever and sophisticated,” explains Samuel, a sentiment the band thrives on.
